Chorister Parent enters Bath Half-Marathon |
|
Monday, 18 February 2008 |
Catherine Topham, mother of girl chorister, Zara, ran the Bath Half-Marathon on Sunday 16 March in aid of the Girl Chorister Trust. Catherine says: “I’m a girl chorister parent who wanted to do something to help with this great cause. Zara has been in the choir since Year 3; she is now in Year 7 and gets a great deal of pleasure and satisfaction from being a chorister. I ran two half marathons last year, one of which was for The Cancer Care Trust and I thought it would be nice to do something for a cause closer to home. I am 41 and have been running to generally keep fit for about 2 years now, I also play tennis once a week and go to the gym in Wells.”

The first of its kind at Wells Cathedra, David offered to straighten his curly locks much to the amusement of the Cathedral community.
